Linas Kutavicius aka Lightforms was born 1979 in Lithuania. He graduated from Vilnius Academy of Art in 2001. The artist designs and builds functional light objects and arranges interior and exterior space from lights and experimental materials who harmonize into a “Lightform”. Since 1997 Linas takes part in different cultural events and exhibitions. He has been collaborating in a number of small informal inter-cultural projects, setting up the environment for a number of music festivals and other events. Due to Linas’ skills to work with diverse people, he often involves other people into the community and creative initiatives. He also usually manages to get support of materials or other supplies for artistic projects.
