Julien Bach is formerly graphic designer working mainly with 3d softwares. Over 15 years career of motion graphics in all kind of medias ( TV, web, in-store, large-scale video-mapping, for festivals, advertisement, architects…) he was experimenting a lot.
Florian Belefeldt’s work is mainly based on figurative drawing and painting combined with cartoon styles and surrealistic arrangements, 2D Environments with ensembles of cut-out figures and things.
The collaboration between Florian and Julien shows traditional media merging with mapping and 3D-animation-skills to add a quaint part to the painted elements – the picture is transformed into something new.
And it revealed that there is to find out more about this anachronistic style and combination of animation and standstill.
